WAUWATOSA – St. Norbert College finished in second place at the Wisconsin Private College Championship hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College at Raabe Stadium.
The Green Knights finished with 167 points to finish runner-up to Carthage College's 206 points. Beloit College was a distance third with 86 points.
St. Norbert took home four first-place finishes.
Jacob Larson (pictured) won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.92 seconds.
Jacob Klitzke claimed the shot put at 50 feet 11 inches, while
Evan Koelemay took the pole vault at 13-11 1/4. The 4x100-meter relay of
Luke Nash,
Maxwell Jayne,
Blake Retzlaff and
Kavin Fredrick won the 4x100-meter relay in 43.59 seconds.
Earning second-place finishes were
Kavin Fredrick in the 200-meter dash (22.52 seconds),
Lars Huffman in the 800-meter run (2:00.38), Larson in the 400-meter hurdles (59.29 seconds) and
Ryan Flood in the high jump (5-10 3/4).
