DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't get on track offensively and ended up dropping a 3-1 decision to Wisconsin Lutheran College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.
The Green Knights fell to the Warriors by scores of 25-22, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19.
Wisconsin Lutheran jumped out to a 12-6 lead in Set 1, but the Green Knights cut the deficit to two points on five occasions but would get no closer. The Warriors led 14-13 in Set 2 and slowly pulled away en route to a 2-0 lead. St. Norbert trailed 10-7 in the third set before climbing back into it, going on a 5-1 run to take an 18-18 tie to a 23-19 lead. The Warriors closed to within 24-23 but a
Bennett Kornaus kill clinched the set. The Green Knights led 4-2 in Set 4 before a 9-1 run gave Wisconsin Lutheran control with an 11-5 edge en route to sewing up the match.
St. Norbert hit .173, with 52 kills against 28 errors in 139 attempts.
Bennett Kornaus finished with 13 kills, while
Kaden Kornaus added 12 and
Cam Doty nine.
Michael Whitney had 44 assists.
Ryan Conway led the back row with 15 digs, while
Bennett Kornaus added 12 and Whitney 10.

Wisconsin Lutheran hit .315, with 52 kills against 13 erors in 124 swings. Brady Pichler led the Warriors with 20 kills.
