Career: Three Varsity letters

2025: Posted his strongest statistical season to date. His .340 hitting percentage ranked 5th in the NACC for the year and is currently the top mark in program history. Recorded 61 total blocks which ranks 2nd all-time. Served 30 aces which led the team and marks the best total of all time. Tallied 14 kills, 4 aces, and 3 blocks for a total of 19.5 points vs. Calvin on 2/14.

2024: Saw action in 74 sets across the season. Recorded 120 kills, 28 blocks, and 18 services aces. Set season-best kill totals with 11 vs. Aurora on Mar. 15 at Rockford on Apr. 3.

2023: Appeared in 80 sets over all 27 matches on the year. Totaled 102 kills, 43 total blocks, 17 service aces, and 33 digs. Recorded a season and career best 15 kills while hitting .619 vs. Illinois Tech on 3/24. Hit for .400 (or better) in five matches. Selected as a member of the training team for the 2023 U19 Badger Region High Performance program.

Before SNC: Was a two-year letter winner at Appleton North with his team finishing as WIAA sectional runners-up in both campaigns. Also was a multi-year letter winner in Lacrosse. Played club volleyball for Fox Valley Performance.

Personal: Intended double major in Finance and Accounting. Son of Kent and Nikki Nelson. Also a member of the SNC track & field team. Has one sister, Keely. Birthdate is Apr. 6.

"Kade had another strong showing through the 2024 season. As a one of our primary middles, he could be counted on for consistent effort and energy through all of our matches. He has matured a great deal and, this year as a captain, will be needed to continue that trend. He is committed to being an all-NACC level performer and I am hopeful that those aspirations will be realized in the coming seasons."
