RIPON – St. Norbert College placed third at the Ripon College Dick Hendricks Invite, winning three events and placing in 13 events.  

The Green Knights totaled 117 points. Hosts Ripon won the team title with 143 points, while NCAA Division I Marquette University placed second.  

Aiden Anderson once again placed first in the pole vault, clearing a height of 16 feet 2 3/4 inches. Gabriel Thiel won the 400-meter dash in 51.59 seconds, while the team of Lars Huffman, Dylan Manteufel, Logan Ashby (pictured) and Nick Johnson won the 4x400 relay. Christian Lopez had St. Norbert's lone second place finish, coming in as runner up in the 5,000-meter run.  

The Green Knights also competed at NCAA Division II Grand Valley State University's Big Meet on Friday. Ezra Schermacher and Jacob Klitzke both placed at the event, with Schermacher placing fourth in the long jump and Klitzke coming in fourth in the shot put.
