DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior goaltender Evi Johnson has been named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week, announced today by the conference office.

Johnson, a Hailey, Idaho, native, was between the pipes in both games of St. Norbert's sweep of Marian University this past weekend. Johnson made 14 saves in the Green Knights' 2-1 win Friday in Fond du Lac, and then completed the sweep of the home-and-home series with 22 stops on Saturday in De Pere.
