MEQUON – St. Norbert College dropped a 4-0 contest to conclude the two-game series against Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey League at Ozaukee Ice Center.
After holding off Concordia for most of the first 20 minutes, the Green Knights (10-6-1, 7-2-1 NCHA) entered the second period trailing just 1-0 following a late Falcons goal. Concordia tallied three more goals in the second to extend the lead.
The Falcons opened the scoring at 16:13 in the first. The next goal came midway through the second at 7:47, followed by scores at 16:05 and 18:15 to close out the period.
The Green Knights were outshot 27-22. Tanith Plachetka and Keira Markell (pictured) split time in goal, with Plachetka recording 17 saves over the first two periods and Markell recording six saves in the third. Gretchen Paaverud of Concordia had 22 saves.
Both teams went 0-for-1 on the power play.
