DE PERE – St. Norbert College sophomore Owen Pittenger has qualified to compete at the NCAA Division III Central Diving Regional at Denison University.  

Pittenger becomes the first athlete in program history to compete at a regional. The event will be held at Trumbull Aquatics Center on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1 in Granville, Ohio.  

Pittenger, a Janesville native and Parker High School graduate, put himself in position to earn his berth at the regional following an outstanding performance at the Midwest Conference Championship this past weekend, breaking the school record in the 1-meter dive with a score of 463.60 points.  

A total of 24 divers from the four NCAA regionals advance to the NCAA Division III Championship in Greensboro, N.C. from March 19-22.
