DE PERE – St. Norbert College junior Jacob Klitzke has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Field Athlete of the Week, announced today by the conference office.  

Klitzke, a Shiocton native and graduate, won the shotput at the Ripon College Winter Open, throwing for 53 feet 9 ¾ inches, the third best in the NCAA Division III ranks in the opening weekend. He also placed second in the weight throw with a heave of 50 feet 4 inches.  

The award is the sixth in his career.
