RIVER FOREST, Ill. – St. Norbert College wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 sweep over Dominican University at Igini Sports Forum, clinching the No. 2 seed in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament.

The Green Knights (22-8, 11-2 NACC) topped the Stars with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-19.

St. Norbert came out to a slow start, with Dominican jumping to an 11-7 lead. Strong serving runs and a stretch of kills from Casey Vaughan helped the Green Knights chip away to take the lead mid-set. St. Norbert closed out Set 1 on a dominant 12-3 run with key kills from Anna Kudick and Kirsten Klatt. The Green Knights controlled Set 2 behind a 7-0 serving stretch from Alli Clark and a team hitting percentage of nearly .500. Vaughan continued to lead in attacks as St. Norbert took a 2-0 match lead. The Green Knights carried momentum into the third set, jumping out to an early lead. Dominican attempted to rally late, but a kill from Annabel Stevenson sealed the 3-0 sweep.

St. Norbert hit .343 with 44 kills against 10 errors in 99 attempts. Vaughan let all attackers with 12 kills, while Stevenson added seven and Mickenzi Benter had six. Heidi Colburn recorded 28 assists and 11 digs, and Kara Sowinski tallied eight digs.

Kirsten Klatt put up four blocks, while Mari Szews and Anna Kudick each had one. Maddie Kitowski and Clark each had two service aces.

The Stars hit .069 with 21 kills against 14 errors in 101 attempts. Ellery Shea led the team with seven kills.

The Green Knights will host No. 7 Illinois Tech on Nov. 11 in a NACC Quarterfinal.
