Career: Three Varsity letters

2025: Surpassed 2000 career assists on 8/30 in four set win over St. Scholastica.

2024: Team captain. Named to the NACC all-tournament team for second time. First-team All-NACC selection. Named NACC week 4 and week 11 Offensive Player of the week. Selected to UW-Stevens Point Pointers Classic all-tournament team. Over the season tallied 1096 assists, 337 digs, 45 aces, and 30 blocks. Posted double-doubles in assists and digs 19 times. Dished a career best 54 assists vs. Benedictine on 11/12 in the 4 set NACC quarterfinal match. Her 24 digs vs. WIAC foe UW-River Falls on 9/20 was also a career high.

2023: Saw time in all 31 matches over the season. Recorded 567 assists, 50 kills, 50 blocks, and 9 aces. Versus Dominican on 9/14 dished out a season-best 38 assists. Scooped a season-best 13 digs vs. North Park on 9/2. Named to 2023 NACC Championships All-Tournament team.

2022: Appeared in 64 sets over 29 matches. Tallied 231 assists, 29 kills, 106 digs, 12 total blocks and 8 aces on the year. Set a season-best mark of 31 assists in a three-set sweep of #1 seed Concordia Wisconsin in NACC tournament semifinal match on 11/3. Recorded 5 double-doubles on the year including a top mark of 18 digs vs. Millikin on 10/29.

Before SNC: Three-year letter winner at Oshkosh North. Named All-Fox Valley Association honorable mention selection in 2020-2021. During prep career played club volleyball for Corey Clark at Fox Valley Thunder and also spent time with FC Elite and Impact.

Personal: Intended major is Elementary Education. Daughter of Lori Abel and Todd Colburn. Has one sister, Kayla, and two brothers Jacob and Brennon. Birthdate is Aug. 19.

"The 2024 season was Heidi's best yet as a Green Knight. She was the top setter, statistically, in the NACC and earned well deserved first-team All-NACC recognition. Heidi is the heartbeat of the team and will be called upon this year to find ways on and off the court to help our team achieve the goals we have set for the season. She has spent a lot of time this off season focusing making herself a stronger player and leader and we will need every bit of that to earn a NACC championship this fall."
