Career: One Varsity letter

2024: In freshman campaign saw action in 42 sets over 28 matches. Dished 85 assists and recorded 42 digs on the year. Set a season-high mark with 13 assists in a 5-set comeback win vs. Illinois Tech on 10/19.

Before SNC: Three-time letter winner for Heartland Arrowhead HS. Team won WIAA Regional championships in each of those seasons. Awarded honorable mention All-Classic 8 in her senior season. Also lettered for Arrowhead alpine ski team one year. Played club for Motion Volleyball Program and MKE Sting.

Personal: Intends to major in Finance. Daughter of Karl and Maureen Ashenfelter. Has one sister, Nina. Birthdate is Sep. 19.

“Keira played an important role for our team in 2024 within the setting group. When called upon she stepped up big; especially in our match versus IIT and helping bring the team back to a 5-set win which kept our NACC title hopes alive. She is a constantly positive presence in our gym and is someone who has earned trust from all of her teammates. We are excited to watch her continued development in 2025."
