DE PERE – St. Norbert College had five men's soccer players named to the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team, announced today by the conference office.
Four were named to the second team; senior defender Dominic Lagona and senior midfielder Kevin Ramirez, junior midfielder Davis Vega and sophomore goalkeeper Jackson Kiszka. Freshman forward Hayden Dunn was named an honorable mention.
Lagona, a Brookfield native and East High School graduate, played and started in 18 games, totaling 1,397 minutes in a defense that earned six shutout wins. He totaled two goals and two assists for six points.
Ramirez, a De Pere native and graduate, played in all 19 games and made 14 starts for 959 minutes. He scored four goals and tallied three assists for 11 points, scoring two game-winning goals.
Vega, a Mukwonago native and graduate, started in all 19 games for 1,472 minutes. He scored one goal and added one assist for three points. He played the full 90 minutes in eight games this season.
Kiszka, a Portage, Mich., native, and Central High School graduate, started in 18 games, making 61 saves and posting a goals against average of 0.97. He won 10 games in goal and kept two clean sheets.
Dunn, a West Bend native and Living Word Lutheran High School High School graduate, led the Green Knights in goals and assists, tallying eight goals and four assists for a team-high 20 points. He had four games of three or more points and scored three game winners.
