BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - St. Norbert College senior Aiden Anderson (pictured) once again set a new standard for the Green Knights at the Samford University Open, claiming first place in the pole vault and breaking the school record for a second time this season.
Anderson cleared a height of 16 feet 5 1/4 inches, which is now the top placing of the NCAA Division III indoor season thus far. Also placing in the event were Evan Koelemay and Ezra Schermacher, who both made top six finishes with heights of 14 feet 5 1/2 inches and 13 feet 11 3/4 inches respectively.
Schermacher also placed fourth in the high jump, getting to a height of 6 feet 6 1/4 inches.
Jacob Klitzke made a top-10 finish in the weight throw, throwing 50 feet 3 1/4 inches to place eighth overall.
