DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior Sydney Spaeth has been named the G. Steven Larson Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Student-Athlete of the Year, the conference office announced July 20.

Spaeth, a West Bend native, was honored with the award following a vote of the NACC's Senior Woman Administrators. She has also been nominated by the NACC as its conference-level nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award.

Spaeth was named NACC Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year and helped the Green Knights to team conference championships in the indoor and outdoor season. She went on to earn All-America honors during the outdoor season with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Championship.

Spaeth was also a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree with a 3.98 grade point average with majors in mathematics and economics. Spaeth was a five-time NCAA qualifier overall and holds four St. Norbert and three NACC records.
