Crossman, Maranell Earn NACC Weekly Honors

Crossman and Maranell POTW GraphicDE PERE – St. Norbert College sophomore's Madi Crossman and Eden Maranell were named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, announced today by the conference office.  

Crossman, a Tomahawk native and Merrill High School graduate, clocked in a time of 25.65 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the University of St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitational last weekend, the fourth-best time in the NACC.  

Maranell, a Howards Grove native and graduate, placed second in the triple jump at St. Francis, going for a distance of 38 feet 7 inches. It was her second best of the season and with a tiebreaker in the national rankings, booked a spot in the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship later this week.  

The award is the first for Crossman this season and the fourth for Maranell.
