
DE PERE – St. Norbert College rolled to another conference championship, comfortably taking home the team title at the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Women's Track and Field Championship at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights piled up 269.5 points, easily outdistancing runner-up Concordia University Wisconsin's 150 points. Aurora University was a distant third with 127.5 points. St. Norbert's point total was the highest at the NACC women's championship since 2015.
The title is St. Norbert's 10th consecutive outdoor women's track and field championship, matching its indoor performance. The first six in the string came in the Midwest Conference, while the last four came under NACC auspices.
Eden Maranell claimed the Green Knights' two Day 2 individual championships en route to being named Field Athlete of the Meet. Maranell, who won three conference crowns overall, claimed the 400-meter hurdles with a St. Norbert-record time of 1:03.05 and the long jump with a distance of 17 feet 5 1/2 inches. Maranell added a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.27 seconds and was sixth in the high jump at 4-9 3/4.
Larissa Huffman was second in two events, gaining silver in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:07.38 and the heptathlon with 3,507 points.
Madi Crossman was second in the 400-meter dash in 59.15 seconds, while
Nicole Makope was second in the long jump at 17-4 1/4.
St. Norbert's two relays finished in second place.

Nicole Makope were second in the 4x100-meter relay in 49.46 seconds, while Crossman,
Casey Vaughan,
Madison Gramblicka and
Nikki Tranel finished runner-up in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:03.17.
Olivia Ship finished third in the 1,500-meter run in 4:50.90 and fifth in the 800-meter run in 2:24.63.
Ellison Lilyquist placed third in the heptathlon with 3,215 points.
Gaining fourth-place finishes were Makope (100-meter dash, 12.61 seconds), Crossman (26.09 seconds), Tranel (400-meter dash, 1:00.50), Gramblicka (800-meter run, 2:21.57),
Lauren Borchardt (100-meter hurdles, 15.41 seconds),
Marissa Lorenz (long jump, 17-0 3/4),
Gloria Tyler (hammer throw, 144-6) and
Laci Hoeksema (heptahlon, 2,994 points).
Katie Smith finished fifth in the 100-meter dash in 12.66 seconds and sixth in the 200-meter dash in 26.53 seconds.
Casey Vaughan was fifth in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.87.
Kera Riley finished fifth in the 1,500-meter run in 5:01.62 and eighth in the 800-meter run in 2:31.72.
Gretchen Schwarz placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.71 seconds.
Lillia Carson finished fifth in the heptathlon with 2,923 points.
St. Norbert's depth continued with
Ally Zickert's sixth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.10, with
Kyra Kopec finishing sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:11.52.
Taylor Thiry placed sixth in the shot put at 38-4 3/4, while Huffman was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.89 seconds.
Also scoring points for the Green Knights with seventh-place finishes were Wolfe in the 100-meter dash (12.77 seconds),
Anna Fitzgerald in the 5,000-meter run (19:29.83),
Gretchen Lane in the heptathlon (2,125 points) and Vaughan in the long jump (16-8 3/4). Finishing in eighth place were
Ella Jerdee in the 5,000-meter run (19:40.62) and Borchardt in the 400-meter hurdles (1:14.42).
