St. Norbert Wins 11th Straight Indoor Conference Title

Women's Indoor Track Champions 2026RIPON – St. Norbert College romped to its 11th consecutive women's indoor track and field conference title with a win at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship at Ripon College's Willmore Center.
 
The Green Knights won their fifth straight NACC title after claiming six straight prior to departing the Midwest Conference. St. Norbert racked up 265.5 points to easily outdistance runner-up Concordia University Wisconsin's 148 points. It is the most points for St. Norbert in any indoor conference meet and the third-best NACC mark ever.
 
St. Norbert claimed six conference champions on Day 2. Kamdan Johnson set a school record with the first-ever sub-9 seconds performance in the 60-meter hurdles at a NACC-record 8.97 seconds. Larissa Huffman won the high jump at 5 feet 2 1/2 inches, while Eden Maranell won the long jump at 18-4 1/2. Madison Gramblicka claimed the 800-meter run in 2:18.24, with Madi Crossman earning a win in a short sprint with the 200-meter dash title in a St. Norbert-record 25.57 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay of Katie Smith, Gramblicka, Crossman and Maranell won with a NACC meet record time of 3:59.02.

Maranell was named Outstanding Field Athlete of the Year for the third time, while Johnson was named Freshman of the Year. Head coach Don Augustine and his staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.

Camdyn Guevara-Derber was second in the 3,000-meter run in 10:51.74, followed by Bijou Phillips in third at 10:52.57. Luisa Arcuri was sixth in 11:02.63.
 
St. Norbert placed three in the top four in the 400-meter dash, with Johnson second in 1:00.08, Rachel Allen third in 1:01.63 and Breanna Jansky fourth in 1:01.66.
 
Alli Clark was second in the long jump at 17-5 1/2, while Maranell was fourth in the high jump at 5-0 1/2.
 
Casey Vaughan was third in the 60-meter dash in 7.98 seconds, Gracie Wolfe right behind in fourth in 7.99 seconds, Smith fifth in 8.06 seconds and Mary Weisensel eighth in 8.31 seconds. In the 60-meter hurdles, Gretchen Schwarz was third in 9.31 seconds, Huffman fifth in 9.61 seconds and Kyra Kopec seventh in 10.29 seconds. Smith was fourth in the 200-meter dash in 26.19 seconds and Vaughan placed fifth in 26.30 seconds.
 
Kera Riley was fifth in the 1-mile run in 5:23.80, Kayla Wesaw sixth in 5:29.45 and Madelyn Wilmas seventh in 5:29.49. Kendra Troxel was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:29.60.
 
Amereka McPherson finished fifth in the long jump at 16-2 1/4 and sixth in the high jump at 4-8 3/4. Vaughan added a sixth-place finish in the long jump at 16-1 1/2.
