
WAUWATOSA - St. Norbert College jumped out to a commanding lead after Day 1 of the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Track and Field Championship hosted at Wisconsin Lutheran College's Raabe Stadium.
The Green Knights rolled up 87 points through the first six of 21 total events to easily lead second-place Milwaukee School of Engineering's 42 points. Concordia University Wisconsin is in third place with 30 points.
St. Norbert had three first-place finishes and one second-place showing to help boost the early point total.
Alli Clark (pictured) captured the conference triple jump crown with a distance of 37 feet 2 1/4 inches.
Eden Maranell was second at 36-3 1/2 and
Amereka McPherson finished fourth at 36-1 1/2.
Isabella Galindo led four scorers in the pole vault, winning with a clearance of 10-8 1/4.
Lara Deshler was third at 10-2 1/2,
Carly Griesemer sixth at 9-8 1/2 and
Jaden Propson eight at 9-2 1/2.
Kayla Wesaw won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:48.04, with
Hailey Delzer finishing fifth at 12:40.78.
The Green Knights had a cluster of four athletes finish together in the 10,000-meter run.
Bijou Phillips was fourth at 39:43,25,
Camdyn Guevara-Derber fifth in 39:51.40,
Luisa Arcuri sixth in 40:26.47 and
Brianna Sheahan seventh in 41:09.55.
Ellison Lilyquist was fourth in the javelin at 103-11, with Maranell finishing sixth at 98-10.
Taylor Thiry placed seventh in the discus at 116-2 and
Addison Marsh was eighth at 114-1.
Through the first four events of the seven-event heptathlon,
Larissa Huffman leads the field with 2,317 points. Lilyquist is fourth with 2,004 points, while
Laci Hoeksema is seventh with 1,893 points.
