
DE PERE – St. Norbert College jumped out to a healthy lead after the first day of the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights have piled up a total of 91 points through the first six of 21 overall events to be contested this weekend. Concordia University Wisconsin is second with 46 points, while Milwakuee School of Engineering is third with 35 points.
St. Norbert crowned three individual champions on Day 1.
Ellee Grunwald (pictured) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:55.87. Isabella Gallindo claimed the pole vault at 10 feet 10 1/4 inches, while
Eden Maranell fashioned a distance of 38-0 in the triple jump to win NACC titles.
The Green Knights had four more scorers in the triple jump:
Marissa Lorenz (second, 37-0 1/2),
Alli Clark (fourth, 36-0 1/4),
Amereka McPherson (sixth, 35-9 1/2) and
Adelle Polzin (seventh, 35-8).
Jaden Propson was third in the pole vault at 10-4 1/2, while
Lara Deshler was fifth at 10-4 1/2.
Anna Fitzgerald was fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 12:19.36.
St. Norbert posted four scorers in the javelin throw with
Daphne Aravena in fifth at 110-9,
Ellison Lilyquist in sixth at 108-5, Maranell in seventh at 100-5 and
Cora Anderson in eighth at 90-1. Three Green Knights scored in the 10,000-meter run, with
Ella Jerdee in fourth at 42:39.60, Camdyn Guevara-Dunbar in sixth in 42:50.05 and
Gianna Carroll in seventh in 43:16.18.
Taylor Thiry finished fifth in the discus throw at 124-0, while
Jolie Foreman was sixth at 123-6.
