
DE PERE - St. Norbert College won nine events en route to taking the team title at its own invitational held at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights totaled 277 points, while Ripon College was second with 229 points. Beloit College was third with 107, Lawrence University fourth with 73 and Lake Forest College fifth with 31.
Sydney Spaeth set the St. Norbert triple jump record with a distance of 36 feet 11 inches, breaking the old mark of 36-4 set in 2015 by Kyra Vanden Heuvel.
The 4x100-meter relay of
Sydney Zima,
Daijah Brown,
Emelia Lichty and
Audrey Makope won with a time of 49.40 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay of
Olivia Eisch,
Julie Dunkel, Brown and
Cora Purdue won in 4:05.91.
Joyana Tarssa won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.02 and the 1,500-meter run in 4:51.56. Brown won the 400-meter dash in 59.62 seconds.
Alex Bruley claimed the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:57.26.
Grace Kowalkowski won the pole vault at 12 feet 3/4 inches, while
Sara DeGroot was second at 11-5. Kowalkowski was second in the 110-meter hurdles at 15.88 seconds.
Lauren Rottier won the high jump with a clearance of 5-1/4, while Spaeth was second at 4-10 3/4.
Emma Sweere won the hammer throw at 139-5 and was second in the shot put at 38-8 3/4.
Miani Blackwell was third in the hammer throw at 132-8.
Megan Petras was third in the discus at 118-7.
Eisch was second in the 1,500-meter run at 4:55.09, while Lichty was second in the 200-meter dash in 26.26 seconds.
Elisabeth Klumpyan was second in the 5,000-meter run at 19:48.67. Zima was second in the long jump at 18-0 1/4.
Jennifer Nummi was second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:11.73.
Makope was second in the 100-meter dash in 12.11 seconds and Zima was third at 12.36 seconds. Dunkel was second in the 800-meter run at 2:23.68.
