
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – St. Norbert College wrapped up its indoor track and field season on the second day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship at Birmingham CrossPlex.

Jacob Klitzke (pictured) narrowly missed cracking the top eight in the shot put by fashioning a ninth-place finish to reap second-team All-America honors.
Klitzke, a Shiocton native, heaved his best mark in the third and final throw of his qualifying heat with a put of 54 feet 9 1/2 inches to crack the top nine and advance to the finals. He then fired a 55-4 3/4 in his first attempt in the finals and then scratched on his final two tries to remain ninth.
Klitzke improved six spots following a 15th-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championship.
St. Norbert senior
Ezra Schermacher competed in the high jump but did not advance past the first height of 6 feet 6 inches to tie for 19th place.
