GRAND CHUTE – St. Norbert College split a pair of non-conference dual matches, defeating Lawrence University 6-1 before falling 4-3 to Wartburg College at Lawrence Courts.

Against Lawrence, the Green Knights swept all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point. Ryan Garland and Jackson Harpt (pictured) topped William Reichen and Benjamin Hoppe 7-6 (7-5) at No.1, while Brett Daniels and Charlie Keller defeated Gabriel Garcia and Owen Horton 6-2 at No. 2. Nolan Pearson and Seth Kogutkiewicz earned a 6-3 victory over Will Lewis and Will Phillips.

St. Norbert also put up a strong performance in singles play, winning five of six matches. Garland defeated Hoppe 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2, while Keller topped Garcia 4-6, 7-6, 10-6 at No. 3. Harpt earned a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Horton at No. 4, and Pearson beat Jonathan Myszka 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5. Kogutkiewicz closed out at No. 6 with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Xander Priest.

Against Wartburg, the Green Knights dropped the doubles point, earning one win among the three matches. Harpt and Keller picked up a 6-3 victory over Milan Lecic and Landon Murch at No. 2 doubles.

In singles play, St. Norbert took three of the six matches. Harpt defeated Lecic 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, while Pearson earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over John Gustafson at No. 4. Kogutkiewicz battled to a 6-3, 2-6, 10-4 win against Murch at No. 5.

The Green Knights will take on Ripon College on Feb. 7 at Green Bay Tennis Center.
