DE PERE – St. Norbert College senior guard Lucas Tappy has been named a third team D3football.com Pre-Season All-American, announced today by the website.  

Tappy, a Iron Mountain, Mich., native and a Kingsford High School graduate, was named a first team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection and a D3football.com second team All-Region V choice after playing in nine games, including the Green Knights 20-14 Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl win over Monmouth College.  

Tappy is the first pre-season All-American for St. Norbert since 2017, when Tyler Jensen was named a second-team selection.  

The Green Knights will open their season against Wabash College at Schneider Stadium on September 6 at 1 p.m.
