DE PERE – St. Norbert College senior offensive lineman Lucas Tappy has been named a Second Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), announced today by the organization.  

Tappy, a Iron Mountain, Mich., native and Kingsford High School graduate, played in all 10 games for the Green Knights and was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Offensive Lineman of the Year along with first team honors. He was also a D3football.com Third Team Pre-Season All-American selection.  

Tappy becomes the seventh student-athlete in program history to be named an All-American by the AFCA.
