X it is as St. Norbert Romps to NACC Indoor Title

Women's Track NACC Championship Ten CountKENOSHA – St. Norbert College turned in a record performance in reaching an impressive milestone as the Green Knights won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference indoor track and field championship at UW-Parkside's Petretti Fieldhouse.
 
The win was St. Norbert's tenth consecutive conference indoor championship, with four in the NACC and six in the Midwest Conference to become the first program in school history to win 10 straight conference championships. The Green Knights rolled up 249.83 points, a school record for a team score at a conference indoor meet. St. Norbert easily outdistanced runner-up Aurora University's 127.83 points and Concordia University Wisconsin's third-place total of 103.33 points.
 
St. Norbert's Eden Maranell was named Field Athlete of the Meet. Maranell won the long jump on Day 2 with a distance of 18 feet 1 inch. On the meet's first day of competition, Maranell also won the triple jump and pentathlon.
 
Nicole Makope won the 60-meter dash in 7.87 seconds. The quartet of Casey Vaughan, Nikki Tranel, Katie Smith and Madison Gramblicka won the 4x400-meter relay crown with a time of 4:06.68.
 
Makope added a second-place showing in the 200-meter dash in 26.38 seconds. Madi Crossman was second in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.51, while Olivia Ship was second in the 1-mile run in 5:21.99.
 
Smith was third in the 200 at 26.48 seconds, while Tranel took bronze in the 400 in 1:00.84.
