
RIPON – St. Norbert College registered points in all but two events as it rolled to the team title at the Ripon College Invitational at Willmore Center.
The Green Knights racked up 159 points to eke past UW-Oshkosh's 147.5 points. Milwaukee School of Engineering was a distant third with 65 points.
St. Norbert had four event winners.
Nicole Makope won a pair of events, claiming the 60-meter dash in 7.89 seconds and the long jump at 17 feet 3 1/2 inches.
Madison Gramblicka won the 800-meter run in 2:23.64, while
Eden Maranell took the triple jump at 37-10.
The Green Knights also had six runner-up finishes.
Amereka McPherson (pictured) was second in the triple jump at 34-4 3/4. Also finishing in second place were
Katie Smith in the 60-meter dash (8.17 seconds),
Anna Fitzgerald in the 3,000-meter run (11:28.21),
Ella Jerdee in the 5,000-meter run (19:30.39), Maranell in the long jump (17-0 1/2) and
Isabella Galindo in the pole vault (10-0).
