DE PERE – St. Norbert College was swept by Concordia University Wisconsin in two Northern Collegiate Hockey League games this weekend, falling by scores of 12-3 and 8-1.
Game one was highlighted by a Tommy Somen (pictured) hat trick, scoring once in the first period and twice in the third period. Patrick Boyle made 48 saves for the Green Knights, with 22 stops coming in the second period.
Sean Yurkov scored St. Norbert's lone goal in the second game at 15:40 in the third period, with Chaz DelMarcelle and Dylan Pomillo assisting. Boyle made 10 saves in the first period while Anders Smith made 25 in the final two periods.
The Green Knights will return to the ice in two weeks against UW-Milwaukee.
