DE PERE – St. Norbert College has been selected to finish first in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association's annual preseason poll of the league's coaches.
The Green Knights totaled 96 points and seven first-place votes. Aurora University was picked to finish second with 85 points and two first-place votes. Adrian College was predicted to finish in third with 81 points and one first-place vote.
St. Norbert will play in an exhibition contest this weekend against Lawrence University and will officially open the season next week against St. Olaf College with two games at Cornerstone Community Center.
