BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - St. Norbert College women's track and field returned to action for the first time in over a month, competing at the Samford University Open.
St. Norbert had several impressive finishes against NCAA Division I opposition, with three Green Knights placing in the top ten of their respective events.
The team of Casey Vaughan, Madi Crossman, Madison Gramblicka and Eden Maranell placed sixth in the 4x400 relay, with a time of 4:07.43. Their time was the 28th best in NCAA Division III in the indoor season thus far.
Maranell placed seventh in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet 4 3/4 inches, while Isabella Galindo finished eighth in the pole vault after clearing a height of 10 feet 2 1/2 inches. Olivia Ship (pictured) finished in 11th in the one mile run, while Alli Clarke came in 11th in the triple jump.
