DE PERE – St. Norbert College football has been tabbed to finish second in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in the annual pre-season poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Knights totaled 124 points for their second-place finish in the poll and received one first-place vote. Defending NACC champion Aurora was once again picked to finish in first, receiving 161 points and 17 first place votes out of a possible 18. Benedictine was tabbed to finish in third with 123 points.
St. Norbert opens its season on the road at Wabash College at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Green Knights will then have their home opener the following week against UW-Stevens Point at Schneider Stadium on Sept. 14. The NACC opener will be played against Aurora on the road in Montogomery, Illinois. This year's homecoming game will be against Concordia Chicago on Oct. 19.
