DE PERE - St. Norbert College got ready for its weekend invitational with a first-place finish in its Midweek Meet at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights totaled 79 points in a meet scored on a 5-3-1 basis. Ripon College was second with 41 points.
Jacob Klitzke won three field events: the discus throw (141 feet 5 inches), hammer throw (148-2) and shot put (46-0 3/4).
Spencer Evenson won the 400-meter dash (52.03 seconds),
Jacob Larson the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.10),
Nick Johnson in the 800-meter run (1:58.89),
Ryan Flood in the high jump (5-8 3/4),
Aiden Anderson in the pole vault (15-0 1/4) and
Hunter Thiel in the triple jump (44-11 1/2).
The Green Knights also won both relays. Evenson, Dylan Callozzo,
Jacob Fisher and
Luke Schmelzer-Zahorik took the 4x100-meter relay in 45.98 seconds.
