Sixteen Named to All-NACC Football Team

2024 All-NACC Football Graphic DE PERE – St. Norbert College had 16 football players named to the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team as announced by the conference office.  

The Green Knights had 11 that were named first team All-NACC: senior running back Patrick Oden, senior wide receiver Mitch Van Vooren, junior offensive linemen Logan Erchull and Lucas Tappy, senior defensive lineman Daylan Lujan, senior linebackers Sam Barnett and Kyle Santos, senior defensive backs Marc Thomas and Brett Boelkow, senior kick returner Austin Miller and sophomore punter Mason Levake. Additionally, Boelkow was named the NACC linebacker/defensive back of the year.  

Two were named to the second team: senior tight end Dylan Rhodes and senior defensive lineman Justin Benoit. Three were named honorable mention: senior defensive back Drew Jurack, junior quarterback Peyton Lyon and junior offensive lineman Bo Olsen.  

Defensive coordinator Charlie Drewek was also named the conference's assistant coach of the year, helping the Green Knights to allow just 13.7 points per game.   

All statistics below are through the 2024 season.  

Oden, an Aurora, Ill., native and a Nazareth Academy High School graduate, rushed for 1,236 yards and 12 touchdowns. He became the first St. Norbert player to rush for 1,000 or more yards since 2005 and tied a school record for touchdowns in a game with five against Lakeland. Oden also caught 14 passes for 101 yards.  

Van Vooren, a Marinette native and Peshtigo High School graduate, led the team in receiving with 510 yards on 33 receptions and had 10 touchdowns.  

Erchull, a New Berlin and Catholic Memorial High School graduate; Tappy, a Iron Mountain, Mich., native and Kingsford High School graduate; Olsen, Sandwich, Ill., native and Marmion Academy High School Graduate, led an offensive line that averaged 163.8 rushing yards a game.  

Lujan, a Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., native and graduate, totaled 29 tackles with 12 ½ tackles for loss and 9 1/2 quarterback sacks.  

Barnett, a Trempealeau native and Holmen High School graduate, recorded 74 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery. 46 of his tackles were solo stops.  

Santos, a Big Bend native and a Mukwonago High School graduate, made a team-high 79 tackles, 44 of which were solo attempts. He also made two sacks, forced and recovered a fumble and had one interception.  

Thomas, a Chicago, Ill., native and Fenwick High School graduate, intercepted five passes and made 29 tackles.  

Boelkow, a Cudhay native and St. Thomas More High School native, had a team-high six interceptions and forced four fumbles. Against Benedictine, he forced four turnovers and was named to the D3Football.com national team of the week.  

Miller, a Combined Locks native and Kaukauna High School graduate, returned 16 kickoffs for 330 and 17 punts for 167 yards.  

Leavke, a Lake Mills native and graduate, had 32 kickoffs for 1,811 yards and 62 punts for 2,441 yards.  

Rhodes, a Waukesha native and West High School graduate, reeled in 12 catches for 119 yards and a touchdown.  

Benoit, a De Pere native and West De Pere High School graduate, made 24 tackles, 8 ½ tackles for loss and two sacks.  

Jurack, a Waukesha native and Mukwonago High School graduate, recorded 23 tackles and a forced fumble, while also breaking up four passes.  

Lyon, a Oshkosh native and North High School graduate, threw for 1,366 yards and 21 touchdowns. Lyon tied a school record with a five-touchdown game against Concordia University Chicago.
