INDIANAPOLIS – St. Norbert College had a group of thinclads participate in the Butler University Invitational, the inaugural event held in the former swine barn at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
The meet, which consisted of primarily NCAA Division I competition, was unscored.
Ezra Schermacher had a pair of third-place finishes on the men's side, finishing in 8.58 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 15 feet 2 3/4 inches in the pole vault.
James McKnight was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.61 seconds, while
Mitch Van Vooren was fourth in the 400-meter dash in 51.09 seconds.
Peyton Panka led the women's side with a seventh-place showing in the shot put at 40-2.
Nicole Makope was eighth in the 60-meter dash (8.17 seconds) and long jump (16-9 3/4).
