Courtnie Hogan's goal just one minute into the third period. Hogan's marker, her ninth of the season, was assisted by
Natalie Hogan.
Marian would get a power-play at 5:31 of the third period, but the Green Knights killed it off. The Sabres then had 36 seconds of extra-attacker time but came up empty.
St. Norbert took a 1-0 lead in the first period on
Josephine Mahlum's goal at 18:25, her fourth of the season.
Erin Huerta and
Eve Parker registered assists. Marian answered in the second period with a goal by Madeline Chimenti at 5:28.
The Green Knights would outshoot Marian 33-15.
Evi Johnson turned in a 14-save performance for St. Norbert, while Kayla Kolpitcke made 31 stops for the Sabres.
Marian was 0-for-2 on the power play, while St. Norbert did not have a power play as the Sabres were not cited for any penalties.
