DE PERE - St. Norbert College got back onto the ice for the first time since early 2020 with a 3-1 loss in an exhibition game to Concordia University Wisconsin at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
All of the scoring took place in the second period. Concordia scored at 3:44 on a power-play marker by Emily Reimche. The Green Knights answered at 6:35 with a shorthanded goal by
Ava Jaschke. The Falcons would respond with a power-play goal at 8:12 by Baileigh Johnson and an even-strength tally by Sarah Pearson at 14:27.
St. Norbert outshot Concordia 17-15.
Evi Johnson made five saves in the first period for the Green Knights,
Ashley Ommen made five stops in the second period, and
Brynn Waisman made two in the third period. Annalina Van Hercke made 11 saves in the first two periods for Concordia while Kami McCardle made five stops in the third period.
