Tim Hartwick and Matt Lobeck also picked up an 8-0 win at No. 3 over Andreas Anklam and Everrett Zank. Josh Sweere and Danny Meicher beat Chris Wilwers and Yue Lee 8-2 at No. 2. Hartwick beat Wilwers 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, while Kyle Sauer beat Zank by the same score at No. 6. Lobeck topped Bales 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3, and Meicher beat Anklam 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5. Sweere defeated Lee 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4, while Harrington topped Lawson 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 1.
