DE PERE - St. Norbert College opened the spring portion of its 2025-26 men's tennis season with a 5-2 loss to UW-La Crosse in a non-conference dual match at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights opened the match by getting one win in doubles play, with the Eagles taking the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 flights.
Jackson Harpt and
Nolan Pearson topped Kyle Heli and Aiden Meixl in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-2) to claim victory at No. 2.
St. Norbert picked up a pair of singles wins.
Brett Daniels (pictured) roared back to defeat Tyler Schneider 0-6, 6-4, 10-7 at No. 1. Pearson then dispatched Luke Hinchliffe 6-2, 7-5 at No. 4.
The Green Knights head to the Keweenaw Peninsula on Sunday, Jan. 25, to face NCAA Division II Michigan Tech.
