APPLETON – St. Norbert College turned in a strong showing at the Viking Invitational at Lawrence University's Whiting Field, recording multiple event victories across the meet.
Gracie Wolfe won the 100-meter dash in 12.92, while
Madi Crossman took first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.5.
Breanna Jansky added a win in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.36, and
Bijou Phillips captured the 1,500-meter run in 5:01.4.
Kamdan Johnson placed first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.16.
The Green Knights also saw success in the relays and field events. The 4x100-meter relay team of Wolfe,
Katie Smith, Crossman, and
Eden Maranell finished first in 47.64, while the 4x400-meter team of
Kera Riley,
Mollie Madsen,
Sarah Kraklow, and
Catherine Fairbanks took first in 4:27.16.
Kayla Wesaw won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:56.53. Maranell claimed titles in both the high jump with a clearance of 5 feet 1 inch, and the long jump at 17-8 3/4.
Alli Clark picked up a first-place finish in the triple jump at 36-5 3/4, and
Ellison Lilyquist (pictured) captured the javelin throw with a mark of 104-7.
