OLIVET, Mich. - St. Norbert College wrapped up its inaugural season at the Mid America Central Conference Championship, falling 11-2 to Saint Mary's (Ind.) College in the opening round before being defeated 7-3 by University of Olivet in the consolation round.  

In the opening contest, Saint Mary's held a 3-0 halftime lead before adding two more points in the third quarter. The Green Knights did capture two points in the fourth quarter during the period's first routine before the Belles closed out the match with six points in the quarter.  

St. Norbert then closed out its first season with the closest match of the campaign against hosts Olivet.  

The Green Knights were awarded one point in partner routines in the first quarter to tie the match at 1-1 and trailed 2-1 at halftime. The Green Knights picked up one point in each routine of the fourth quarter to pick up their most points in a match this season.  

Despite no victories in the first year of competition, St. Norbert has laid the groundwork for the program and improved drastically over the year.
