Green Knights In Second Place After Day 2

Alisha DraegerGRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College moved into second place after the second of four days of competition at the Midwest Conference Championship at Grinnell College's Osgood Pool.

The Green Knights have 273 points to trail only Grinnell's 377 points. Lake Forest College is in third place with 226 points.

Alisha Draeger (pictured) led the second-day swimming efforts, finishing in second place in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.27 seconds. Ashley Mako finished second in 3-meter diving with 383.30 points.

Draeger, Keyilah Justus, Katherine Thompson and Claire Sieber finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:37.82.

Thompson finished in third place in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:14.32. Claire Sieber was fourth in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:12:48 and ninth in the 50 freestyle in 25.10 seconds. Adelle Polzin added a fourth-place finish in 3-meter diving with 352.60 points. 

Isabelle Halsall placed eighth in the 500 freestyle in 5:24.13, while Ally Boyer was ninth 200 individual medley in 2:16.94.
