DE PERE – St. Norbert College junior Connor Pytleski has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced today by the conference announced today by the conference office.  

Pytleski, a Green Bay native and Southwest High School graduate, averaged 14.6 points per game last week. In the 79-69 win over St. Olaf College, he recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. He then followed that performance with 14 points and six boards against No. 3 UW-La Crosse in a 84-58 loss and was named to the Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament All-Tournament team.  

His most impressive outing came against Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, scoring 20 points with an 8-0 run produced by himself during a 13-point rally in a 76-75 win for the Green Knights.  

The award is the first in his career.
