DE PERE – St. Norbert College women's tennis has been picked to finish in second place in the annual Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's pre-season poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Knights totaled 132 points to finish in second. The defending league champions Edgewood University were selected to finish in first, totaling 162 points and 18 first place votes. Milwaukee School of Engineering was chosen third with 128 points.
St. Norbert opens its season on the road in a conference game against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Sep. 6. This year's home opener will be against Illinois Institute of Technology on Sep. 13 at Green Bay Tennis Center.
