GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College finished in third place at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference championship at Phoenix Alumni Cross Country Course at Shorewood Park.
The Green Knights totaled 78 points for their best conference finish since a third-place showing in 2021. Milwaukee School of Engineering won the team title with 32 points and Wisconsin Lutheran College was second with 61 points. Concordia University Wisconsin's Isaiah Lubner won the individual title, covering the 8,000-meter course in 25:35.9.
St. Norbert had two All-Conference finishers, which are given to the top 15 places .
Lars Huffman (pictured) led the way with an eighth-place finish in 26:25.4.
Christian Lopez finished in 13th place with a time of 26:34.9.
Jacob Wellons finished in 18th place in 27:09.3, while
Will Cascio placed 25th in 27:44.0.
Michael Chudy rounded out St. Norbert's scorers with a 31st-place finish in 28:09.3.
Evan Abts finished in 33rd place overall at 28:14.5, while
Carson Hammer placed 37th overall in 28:41.2.
