MEQUON – St. Norbert College claimed the team title at the Wisconsin Private College Championships hosted by Concordia Wisconsin, finishing first among eight teams.
The Green Knights totaled a strong 28 points to secure the top spot. Concordia Wisconsin followed in second place with 51 points. Isaiah Lubner of Concordia took the individual title with a time of 25:43.2.
Pacing St. Norbert was Lars Huffman (pictured), who clocked a 26:47.2 to finish in second place overall. Following closely behind was Kyan Lynts crossing in 26:48.2, finishing in third place. Christian Lopez added a sixth-place showing in 27:01.6.
Michael Chudy recorded a 27:03.1 for a seventh-place finish, while Jacob Wellons posted a 27:53 to place 11th.
Evan Abts turned in a 28:35.1, placing 15th, and Will Cascio rounded out St. Norbert's top-seven with a time of 29:22.5 for 22nd place.
