DE PERE – St. Norbert College has been selected to finish second in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's annual pre-season poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Knights totaled 321 points and 10 first-place votes. Wisconsin Lutheran College was the pre-season favorite with 305 points and eight first-place votes. Aurora University came in third with 262 points.
St. Norbert will open its season against University of Chicago in the annual Nicolet National Bank Tip-Off Tournament next Friday. Conference play will begin on December 3 against Rockford University.
