DE PERE - St. Norbert College freshman Ezra Schermacher has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year, the conference office announced June 28.

Schermacher, a Plymouth native, piled up 36 points for the Green Knights at the NACC Indoor Championship, with the Green Knights capturing a share of the conference title along with Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Schermacher won the high jump at 6 feet 5 inches and the pole vault at 15 feet 1 1/2 inches and placed second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.62 seconds and long jump at 21-8 3/4.
