DE PERE - St. Norbert College had two players earn mention on the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference softball team, announced today by the conference office.
Freshman infielder
Allison Ardito and junior outfielder
Christina Paleka were both chosen as honorable mention All-NACC selections.
Ardito, a Bartlett, Ill., native and a St. Viator High School graduate, led the Green Knights in hitting this season with a .354 batting averaging. Ardito posted team-highs in runs scored (29), hits (45), doubles (10), total bases (60) and on-base percentage (.410).
Paleka, a Burlington native and a Catholic Central High School graduate, hit .246 this season while recording 64 putouts in the outfield. She hit eight doubles and two home runs while driving in a team-high 21 runs.
