DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore Marcus Mittelstadt was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, announced today by the conference office.

Mittelstadt, a Round Lake, Ill., native and a Grayslake Central High School graduate, turned in a solid performance in the heptathlon on Dec. 2-3 at the Ripon College Opener, winning the event with 4,655 points.

His point total in the heptathlon is currently the second-best mark in NCAA Division III.
