
RIPON - St. Norbert College opened its indoor track and field season with an unscored meet at the Ripon College Opener.
Daijah Brown,
Kennedy Marquardt and
Emelia Lichty swept the top three spots in the 300-meter dash, with respective times of 42.17 seconds, 43.79 seconds and 44.03 seconds.
The Green Knights took the top two spots in the pentathlon, with
Lauren Rottier posting 3,142 points and
Sydney Spaeth scoring 2,708 points.
Julie Dunkel won the 400-meter dash in 1:02.80, while
Audrey Makope won the 60-meter dash in 7.76 seconds.
St. Norbert won the 4x200-meter relay, with the quartet of
Alex Wech,
Nicole Makope,
Addison Lund and
Nikki Tranel winning in 1:52.82. Marquardt, Brown, Dunkel and
Cora Purdue won the 4x400-meter relay in 4:06.78.
Spaeth and
Marissa Lorenz took the top two spots in the triple jump at 35 feet 5 inches and 33-4 1/2, respectively.
Grace Kowalkowski won the pole vault in 11-7 3/4 and
Sara DeGroot was second at 10-8.
Kowalkowski finished second in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.87 seconds.
Sydney Zima was second in the long jump at 17-0 1/2 and third in the 200-meter dash in 27.37 seconds.
