LAKE GENEVA - A big second round for St. Norbert College lifted the Green Knights at the Carthage College Como Crossings Intercollegiate at Hawk's View Golf Club.

The Green Knights had their best round of the season relative to par in the second round of the one-day, 36-hole event, carding an 11-over 299. St. Norbert opened with a 326 to finish with a total of 625 to place ninth out of 12 teams. Carthage and the University of Dubuque tied for first, each registering a 599. Dubuque's John Dobbe led a field of 72 golfers with a 6-under 70-68--138.

Dawson Fish tied for sixth with a 77-71--148. Fish had two birdies in the first round but then fired four birdies on the second 18 to finish 1-under for the round and 4-over for the tournament.

Matthew Lepre (pictured) finished 21st with a 78-76--154, netting two birdies in each round. Brendan Lange tied for 32nd place with an 84-73--157, getting four birdies in a 1-over par second round.

Owen Weber tied for 59th place with an 87-79--166, with three consecutive birdies in the second round. Max Renard also finished in a tie for 59th place with an 87-79--166, also getting three second-round birdies.

Collin Ferguson, golfing individually, tied for 46th place with an 85-75--160, getting four second-round birdies.
